Deskari isn't dropping the Nahyndrian crystal when using Midnight bolt on him in Iz. Another bug? This one is pretty serious, because it bars the ascension ending for all companions.

Yeah check your combat log, I MISSED with the midnight bolts. Had to redo that fight three times before the crystal dropped on the floor. (be sure to pick it up before the fight ends if it does drop). Midnight bolts aren't supposed to miss ever so made a bug report about it.

that thing should not miss it says so in the description.

Yea, I've reloaded several times trying to get him to drop it and nada. Reported it as a bug.
Gonna cheat myself one with Toybox atm. Don't wanna ruin the ascension ending.

having same issue here, repeatedly fought deskari multiple times and just can't get a crystal. Going to try with toybox, do you know the item name in toybox? doesn't seem to be Nahyndrian Crystal

Didn't have any problems here, maybe a dumb question but... are you checking the ground? It falls out of him and you have to loot it before the end of the fight. The Midnight Bolt always says "Miss" because it's replacing one of your attacks which is what's missing, but it should still do the damage and cause the crystal to poop out on the floor under him.

Yes, we all know we should get it while in battle, but nothing is on the ground.
And btw, I went to Threshold and did the secret ending route - Deskari and Baphomet don't drop them crystals there either. Massive bug.

It wasn't on the ground and there was no damage in the combat log. I redid the same fight three times, it only worked the 3rd time.

I just attempted it, Miss only occurs because Deskari has a concealment chance on him. (But even with that, Aru bae's arrow still hit). But nothing dropped what so ever.

I found that the drop is more likely to occur if the MC fires the bolt, rather than a companion.

Might be a bit late, but in case somebody searches for it: After several tries I today got the option to pick up the Deskari crystal during the dialogue. Meaning: after reducing D's HP to a certain amount, a dialogue starts where I so far could only choose my mythic path specific "You are a looser" option, but suddenly there was "pick up fresh nahyndrian crystal" as number 1 dialogue option.

So if you are trying to get D's crystal, always play the dialogue before reloading. :)
