Hepzamirah/Baphomet tips
I'm having a very hard time with this fight and I don't want to turn down the difficulty. Any hints on how to beat it?

You need to tell everybody what difficulty you're on as the answer can vary wildly.

Sorry. I'm on daring.

Based on playing Core, for Hepzamirah I'd recommend focusing all your strongest attacks and spells on her since the other enemies run away when you drop her. If the spellcasters get off area effect spells that last through the Baphomet fight, it can be a pain. On Core the Baphomet part was rough since his AC was too high for anyone to hit but it may be easier on Daring. For Baphomet, I focused on touch AC spells/abilities and those that deal 1/2 damage on a save. Have characters with Last Stand mythic ability and summons stay close to him and move everyone else further away, particularly the MC. You basically just need to survive a bit and chip away at him so keeping him distracted by summons and Seelah with Last Stand worked for me. He wiped me the first time in two turns.

Thanks. I didn't know last stand was that useful I'll restructure and try again.

Last Stand is incredibly useful, given how many mobs look like. I focused on the two casters first, since I could alphastrike them. Otherwise they dispel you and place scirocco over the party. I brought the recovery tools, since I was sure I would lose some party members there...breath of life, inspiring recovery, mass heal, raise dead.
Baphomet himself is very hard. One step below daring difficulty he still has AC 58 and SR 40,and his attacks deal like 70 damage without crits. But you have a little grace period, since he starts off with two spells before he kills you (at least he did for me...word of Baphomet and one other). With his high SR spells did not do much, my chance to bypass it was 25% (I needed a 16 to get through), and that was only Nenio, who has the spell penetration line. My mythic abilities worked, though, and I blasted him with Close to Heaven.

Anything you have to mitigate physical damage will be helpful. DR X/- would be good, and if you have scrolls of blink (and UMD), this is a good place to use them. The illusion defense spells won't do much good, but blink is proof against true seeing.

How did you deal with Overwhelming Presence? Before the fight Baphomet removes all my buffs, gets the turn first and stuns my characters for the rest of the battle.

You dont have to fight baphoment, you can outrun him with haste and just stay alive for a few rounds before you win by default.
The caster minos run away after you down hepzamirah and they all have crazy low saving throws.

All my chars made their saves, so it wasn't a problem for me.

What mythic path do you play? Angels can (must?) kill him. Everyone else can just outlast him till the fight ends.

my friend told me if you use a midnight bolt on baphomet he dies instantly but i cant confirm

Only one or at tops 2 for me ever managed to make their saves since at the start he dispelled all my buffs and got the first turn, always. Only managed to use 5 midnight bolts cause two of them saved.

I superbuffed everyone, so that may be it. He stilled ko’d my tanks real quick though.

He does not - you do get some game lore when you hit him with one.

In my successful run at him, I saved my buffs because his dispel is a scripted sequence that cannot be avoided, then managed to crit-fish him down with my main (a twohander Paladin with everyone's favorite talking weapon,) combined with two black bolts and some crits from Greybor. Meanwhile, I kept my people alive (or not) by spamming restoration on Daeren, interspersed with Heal spells. I didn't have the problem of him one-shotting people with his melee because he kept casting his ranged AoE spell - likely targeting the Angelic summons I was carting around from the last fight, since they were all at range.

I am not certain whether Angel path characters must always kill Baphomet - but I can confirm you DO have to kill him if you choose the Angel path dialogue option.

I was... not prepared for his fight. It's a HUGE jump in difficulty (like the dragon fight before him.)

I would also love to hear how you get past this seemingly insurmountable ability.

I am on Angel path (because the game sure as ♥♥♥♥ seems to want to push you in that direction, at least on the first playthrough), and so I have to kill him. But I get splatted with Overwhelming Presence, despite having Rupture Restraints on three of my characters, including my main.

WT actual F?!?
