Best buffing class and build?
I'm currently using ember as an off heals buffer but was wondering if there was a better option that i could make with a hired merc? Prefer main purpose buffing with some damage after every ones been buffed.

I'm assuming its going to be some type of wizard or sorc?

For me Camellia and Lann (as a cleric) do the vast majority of buffing.

Bard is usually my go-to class for party buffing.
On my current run I made a Dirge merc that does the job great for me. I have her doing dazzling display duty too so she can soften up the enemy in between buffing me.

Is dirge the better bard subclass for wrath?

Im pretty bad at the game despite my play time so for companions i tend to just go pure builds of what they start as

A level 8 bard can quickly buff your party with Good hope + Inspire courage for a huge boost.

A alchemist unique way of casting his spell make him a great and unique buffer.

Ecclesitheurge of Abadar with the Nobility domain are amazing.

Wizard / Sorcerer are no brainer but i think now the best ''arcane'' buffer is the arcanist Brown-Fur Transmuter.

Dirge has only one very small downside vs. normal Bards. (Well Versed)
But lots of extra bonuses. All the other subclasses have more of a tradeoff.
