The slaves can be taken home with you for an event in chapter 5, think it offers some free units or some bonus to one of the crusade stats, can't remember, it's also the nice thing to do but seeing as you're an lich, maybe you can just mass sacrifice them once you get back from the abyss.

I don't know, playing as Azata I just fought the entire flesh market and freed the slaves afterwards and sent them to my camp, maybe it's different for other mythics.

I mean that's a possibility, but there are steps one can take to ensure survival.

listen to the angel about a certain group of slaves you can buy, send the gladiator slaves to your camp, ask Noct to protect them, etc etc...

yeah... maby thats why everyone was dead ... still kinda weird ... i had all exept the gladiators.. and i didnt wanted help from Noct ... i even got a different airship and all. its so weird because all my compianions survived at the camp... like 8 of them... and the rest all died??

AFAIK it's the slaves from Krebus (you know, the topic) that kill all the others. So, no, maybe don't take them to camp

From a post on reddit:
It's based on a "defense score" - some things increase it, some things decrease it.

Sending the Aasimar slaves, the gladiator slaves, the golarion slaves, Xorges (the qlippoth boy), and Nocticula's guards to your camp increases it.

Sending the pleasure slaves, or Krebus' slaves to your camp will reduce it.

If you're above the threshold for your defense score, when you return you'll get a cutscene where you can save the people who attacked your camp. If you are below it, everyone will be dead and there will be no cutscene.
