Are summoned Bralani still brain dead re: friendly fire?

In Kingmaker this problem *forced* me to use the mod Bag of Tricks to ensure that my party didn’t get electrocuted. Does this problem still exist in WotR?

Also well, demons are immune to electricity so last time i invoked them in blackwater, they were really just shooting through my characters.

That was fun.
I mean even cyborg demons should have some damage from electricity if you ask me.

The AI is still brain dead. They will lightning bolt through you, or sound burst on you. Or waste their turns lightning bolting their mortal enemies whom are immune to lightning.

Also the deva something will sunburst your whole partly, probably read stuff about UV and viruses and trying to do it's part.

As mentioned, in order to use Azata/Axiomite chain lightning alpha strikes on bosses, you need to buff up with at least resist energy communal w/ 30 resist. Also top it off with protection from energy lightning and the 20+ chain lightning will likely not even tickle you. With Greater Enduring Spells you can run these resists all day long.

Also as mentioned, demons are almost all immuned to lightning damage. So its pretty much useless vs. demon bosses at least.. UNLESS, Ascendant Summons mythic ability allows you to bypass immunities. Unfortunately, it doesn't mention immunities and instead only mentions DR bypass save for N/-. So I doubt it.

Uses "Summon Internal Bleach Storm" as well. Demons have no bleach resistance or immunities.

Hmm, how about the will o wisp from the Bit o’ Fun path? Does it screw up your party with fear? And I think it uses electrical attacks too…

What incredibly bad design. Purposefully gimping our summons like that, just so we don't use them, or have to do all these other things to be able to use them in a limited way. Also, making the enemies immune or giving them incredibly high resists, saves and stats to force us into a very limited style of gameplay really sucks. I love how creative we can be in DnD with spells and abilities, but this game nerfs or blocks pretty much all of that. :(

Toy Box mod has an option to control summons yourself.
Reinstalled and just saw that again now.

Once in a while if they have poor line of sight to an enemy unit but you are still in combat they target your mc.
