Demons Heresy bugged?

So I made it to the Greengates with Aru in my party. I explored the entire map. Got the bell, went into the bell fry. Rang it. Nothing is happening.

Now I recruited her in chapter 2. Did I miss something? Or is this bugged? Please help

I explored the map but there is a fight that’s crazy with the retriever and a bunch of high level demons. Can I bypass this somehow? How can I beat them, I’m only level 9

The bell is suppose to make sure the Hag doesnt run away, ive done it with and without rining the bell, seems to make no difference but could be a bug. Works out either way.

try to use a choke point to your advantage, there are several in the ruins, or pull them furthur back, have a fast character kite them to your party up the ramp and stairs maybe. They are the only path to the hag so you have to do them

If you talk to the Hag after fighting her and pass a Perception check, you'll notice her starting to cast a spell. I'm guessing this is when she tries to flee and ringing the bell prevents it if you miss the Perception check.

Actually you can bypass it. I snuck with Aru through the demon room, started the ecounter with the Hag, got lucky with RNG and started the dialogue and was able to teleport whole party next to the chapel, at the grave and completed the quest. Didn't manage to kill the hag, she teleported too but I completed it and saved myself having to ressurect half of the party.
