Where are the laughing caves?

Hi, where are the laughing caves? i found all other puzzle pieces for the heart of mysteries-quest, but can't find that this location...

i know where the location is, but it will not trigger and i did all 4 puzzles. yes, seems buggy.

I ran into a similar road stop, but after reading some old kingmaker posts, i saw that some places there required a perception check to find them on the map. So i rested in the area and cooked some mulled wine for a skill bonus.

Thankfully made the perception 45 skill check afterwards and the place was revealed.

If you are like me and ran into this a couple months later due to not wanting to play until the first major patch came out, the check is a Religion (Lore) check, not perception. Had to use someone with a high lore check for Religion. It is checked every couple times you walk passed the area it is supposed to be.

Finding Laughing caves requires you are successful in difficulty level 45 perception check.

it's perception 49. there are religion rolls in that area (with various dc's; i've seen as high as 68), but they seem to be unrelated. it's revealed after a perception roll, but if you failed it before, i think you'll have to level up to retry. it reliably re-rolled for me when i leveled up on a global map, standing in the nearby fort.
