Not to mention patches that do not break my saves and/or progression.
After they manage to do that with WotR, /then/ they should think about making a new one...or choosing an AP to convert that is less RTS-heavy and more RPG heavy.
Not to mention that it is severely difficult to teach people unfamiliar with Pathfinder/DnD rulesets, about the rulesets because of the depth of it.
Even saying "Why is it so hard for them to care about newcomers though" completely invalids the hard work that is put into the tutorial, which I'll repeat; actually does a good job letting you know what's up and what's down.
He confuse complexity with user unfriedlyness
What are you talking about? This is a thread about PF.
I am talking about them maybe converting one of the better APs to this engine and maybe repair some of their very odd interpretations of the rules. I am not a fan of the Kingdom management/Large scale battle heavy APs. So it would be nice to get another one. Or a working "Auto" feature for the non-RPG stuff.
And less gamebreaking bugs that persist through betas and getting reported every second day. :)
Though i cant for the life of me remember where i read it from so take this with a grain of salt.
Would make sense since Paizo pushed that quite a bit. Not my piece of cake, but why not? It would be a bit of fresh wind for sure.
Though it may be star finder next time like a previous poster said.
Can't see why not - they established a very nice substitute where Bioware lost interest (Neverwinter Knights). No matter how many different cRPGs are out there, something like NWN & Pathfinder is special and has to be around :)
I never rolled that many different characters / played with the character editor only but in those games.
Pathfinder 2 should get some nice, big extensions before talking about Pathfinder 3 IMHO. Another exploration/expedition-like gameloop (no castle, just the way forwards) into the depths like NWN:Hordes of the Underdark would be nice!
RE "unfriendly" - the pathfinder game has a lot more ingame tools to wade through the D&D rules then other games. (the class development overview is a big help, as is the branching tooltips / ingame wiki). Of course there can always be improvements. I for example would like to see basic weapon examples when picking up weapon feats (I always have to look them up when designing a char)
This may be the new Final Fantasy of CRPGs...
