in front of her tribe in drezen
knife situation
book situation
after finding her
not sure if the knife situation is only for romance
both in act 3, in one she steals a knife from a merchant and you have to deal with the situation in the other the mongrel merchant girl disappear, you can find her body, her hidden cache with a book and hand it over to wenduag
Arushelae is just best girl.
She is this game`s Viconia, and honestly the only other romance option in videogames that I actually ever liked.
Or maybe I just have the weak knees for "evil-girl-turn-good-girl" and "secretly pure" options.
The "knife situation" is a romance situation and isn't required as far as I know. What you need to do is (spoiler) :
1 - Do not show the light tu Sull during Act 1
2 - Pick Wenduag over Lann after the maze.
3 - During Act 3, after completing Wenduag's companion quest, there is a little scene in Drezen where she assert dominance over the Montgrels... say you want to play that game and assert dominance over her in front of the Montgrels.
4 - During Act 3, after completing Wenduag's companion quest, Dyra (the Montgrel merchant) goes missing. Talk to Sull about her and say you will find her. Go to the cemetery and find her body, go back to Sull and promise you will find the culprit, then find the hidden cache in the wall of the closest building, toward Drezen's entrance (I'm not sure, but I think that you have to promise Chief Sull you will find the culprit, which require you to find the body first, before the hidden cache can even be found). Read the letter, read the book, take the book and give it to Wenduag saying that Dyra died because of it and you will consider her responsible if anyone else die because of it.
5 - During Act 4 - after completing Wenduag's quest, she will be missing for some time. Go back to Savamalhek's mansion. Use the Stealth dialogue options and do not reveal yourself. After that, go back to camp and say to Wenduag that you're not afraid of her betraying you, because it's better for her to betray anyone who would try to make her turn against you.
Alternatively, if for some reason you waited too long and Wenduag is back before you could go back to Savamalhek's mansion, you can initiate the same dialogue with an Intimidation option.
If you did all this correctly, Wenduag will side with you against Savamalhek during the last part of her companion questline.
I also heard that she will side with you, without you needing to do all that, if you romance her the right way. I do not know if this is true and, if it is, what dialogue options during romance make her side with you.
To each his own, I guess. Wenduag is a good romance for both good and evil playthrough.
as far as I got it, I romanced her until act five, because my character just romanced everybody. you need to admire her being strong and everything, don't choose the evil options in most dialogs, but don't admonish her or pity her. in act 4 there's this particular scene where she talks to you after svenmelah dude revealed himself to be her father. you talk to her here, after choosing the right options, you do it the 'right way' without the sub dom thingy. you know the right options because she will just cease speaking to you any other way. don't choose evil. she tells you that you know exactly what to say to make her feel better and that she loves you or something. I think that after that she will not betray you. I haven't tested it though. so don't count on it. it'll be weird if after such a heartfelt moment she chooses to kill you.
in terms of likeabilty, arushela is more likeable. wenduag is more likely to betray you than not. she just has a better personality.
