best reach weapons available?
The problem I always have in games that don't let you craft your own weapons is knowing at level 1 which weapon to train, because the game only provides some of them as the "best" weapons and you don't know what they are until it's too late.

So... for anyone who has progressed farther than me, what are the best 2-handed weapons (reach distance also nice) for melee combat? Bardiche, Fauchard, Glaive, Longspear? Or the slightly more common Scythe, Greatsword, Trident, Earthbreaker? What are the most interesting weapons that you've found for your mounted Cavalier to ride into combat?

Glaives are omnipresent, lots of spears, some scythes and tridents and only one magical falshion no matter how overpowered...:ShockedOwlcat: Actually greatswords are no better in this regard found only one of them. It's still beta though.

I do not know about the Bardiche, but the Glaive has several decent ones all the way up to Dresen, (as far as i have gotten so far) and the Fauchard has one really nice one there too. i just made a build for it.

I think Enlarge Person spell might increase reach but not sure. Also if they included the Aberrant Bloodline that might also add some reach, but its not an option. Lunge I guess is in game for feats but only a boss or enemy has it. Fluid form is also a spell that would increase range but its not in game. Pliant Gloves and Longarm Bracers would also add reach but are also not in game. I think they made a design decision to cap reach so you might have to wait till mods come out, and even then you either have to make these yourself or wait till someone is interested enough to make the mod.

Other thing I noticed is Zephyr’s Gift blessing is only half there the huge range boost was not included.

It's weird when I look at it, its a good game but not sure how much new skills or classes are really new....much of this new stuff you had mods for in Kingmaker so not sure if they did it or just added it to Wotr.
