Hmm.. i did it just some days ago, and yeah the negative hitpoints thingy was happening for me too. But, Adamantine weapons did finish them always at that point (with 1 hit), same for Wenduag, she had some trait probably that caused her to also be able to finish them (even had no Adamantine weapon), so had 3 on my party that were able to finish all enemies once they went down with the negative hp amounts so was able to do it fully to finish without much issues even with that weirdness.
I thought it was intended mechanic lol.. thought they were like augmented cyborgs that went down, but needed "finisher" to be Adamantine/equivalent trait, sort of like the Treants or whatever treedudes who needed Fire/alchemical fire/something like that to finish while they were downed in Wintersun or was it somewhere else?
I didn't bring any adamantine weapons.
I'm now stuck in an infinite battle. There were a couple enemies that died, but this one Kalavakus will not die. Dude has -50K hp. I think I'm going to have to resort to trying to add an adamantine weapon through toybox and see if that fixes it. Ugh this is so annoying.
Yeah sounds bad.. hope you get it done with adding Adamantine weapon/trait. No idea how that works, i have never even tested Toybox yet. :)
I am glad to be of service! ^^
I was lucky i had that Soulshear with me when i went in and Wenduag had some trait for sure, no idea what, that also worked, same for 1 of my mercs. :)
I left Souldhear at home. I'll definitely bring it next time. There's only a handful of adamantine weapons in the game. I just added an adamatine earthbreaker so Wenduag can help kill them. Super lame though.
Hih, my KC never leaves her home without Soulshear, it's leaning against the wall even during her baths, and held on the table visible to everyone while having feasts on Drezen.. i mean some people want my Demon Commander dead for whatever ignorant reasons. The presence of that evil glaive brings some needed fear into the hearts of peasants. After a traitor or two.. i don't want more such incidents. When someone acts suspiciously, off with their heads!
I still need that throne..
