Strange Guests DLC
You can access this quest pretty early on in Chapter 2 but the very first enemies you fight are a big group of level 9s. Are you meant to come back to this later or do the devs expect it to be doable as soon as you can get to it?

I personally would wait till chapter 3 to do this one. It's definitely possible to do it in chapter 2, but the reward scales with level so it's just ok when you get it early. Is better later.

Interesting. Okay thanks. Wasn't aware of any scaling rewards in this game. Thought they were all static.

It's quite unique. I don't want to spoil anything, but you'll see when you get it.

You also need 3 casts of dimension door to get all the loot. Just so you know before you go in ;)

Cool, thanks!
As long as there is no red mark beside the quest, you can continue during a later Act. I cleared the outside in Act II, but forget to finish it in Act III, and it still shows it as a finishable quest in Act IV... So there is really no need to rush!
I would advise you have the highest level cold resistance and protection from cold if you want to fight the toughest optional enemies in that DLC as well as ghost touch weapons.
Little clarification: This is not a case of "if you go there later, you'll get more powerful items." kind of scaling, but an item that unlocks extra stats, relative to the wearer's current level, so it'll be the same strength for any level 16 character, no matter if you originally got it when you were level 5 or level 15, so it won't matter when you go there for the rewards, only for the difficulty in getting them.

You just brought back some terrible flashbacks for TES: Oblivion, where the time was only as good as you when you got it...
