Teamwork Feat Volley Fire doesn't work?
Took this on three of my backline archers, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Never gives +3 on any attack. Not on the same target, nor on adjacent targets. Is this feat broken at the moment?

I have never used this feat, but all I can find about it is this info:

Volley Fire - Effect - TW Feat

You have trained to work in ranks of archers to rain arrows down upon your foes.Benefit: You gain a +1 bonus on ranged attack rolls for each ally with this feat who made a ranged attack since the end of your last turn against a target within 15 feet of your target, to a maximum of +4.

it is a new feat, not sure how they playtest stuff... if you say it doesnt work as described it is probably broken

Yea I tried to shoot at the same target then wait a turn to see if it triggers, but didn't then also fired at enemies next to the target (because it says within 15 feet) but also nothing.

I mean it's already not very good if it requires you to shoot a different target. If this is the case it also depends on whether the original target is already dead or not. Not sure.

For now, I've not been able to trigger it at all. Either the feat requires too much micromanagement of sorts to get it to work or it's broken. For now it seems like a totally worthless feat. Especially if it is working as intended, but just never triggers.

I was kinda hoping it was a sort of "ranged" outflank...

that is probably the case, the trigger is too complicated,
if u target the same enemy with an ally it should work however,
if you both shoot at the same enemy and end the round, next round someone should get the bonus, if noone gets it, it is probably bugged and should be reported

Yea I've tried this many times looking through the combat log, but it's not showing up anywhere.

I would send an in game bug report in, next time it fails. that way QA (all 2 guys) can look into it.

I figured you had that done already, but just in case.

yep, its not working well, it does sometimes proc, but it is really random.
I have 3 characters with the feat(lets call then 1,2,3) 2 targets side by side(a,b)
1 is targeting a
2 and 3 are targeting b

1 and 2 are getting +1 from volley
it makes no sense why 3 is not

and i tested multiple times, and some times no one is getting anything
it does never proc if targeting the same enemy, with by the wording, it should

The feat is complicated to use (even on pnp it's a mess to track). You need to be in turn based to not mess up the chain.
For you to get the bonus, you need to hit an enemy that wasn't by one of the feat team between your last and current turn (no it doesn't work on the same enemy, it works on enemies with 15 feet, you need 2 enemies at least for 2 archers).

There is also the issue of distance, you have to keep track of the 15 feet between mobs, it's not that easy without squares on the ground.

Yea I figured if that's what it was it was going to be a pointless feat to take especially on RtwP. But I did do what you said and it still did not work, so either the window is super tiny or the feat is busted. But right now if it only triggers once per 100 fights by dumb luck it's a wasted feat. Man it sounded so good, but it just sucks. Whatever.

dont give it up just yet....
owlcat is notorious for fixing new stuff a few patches later,
@Drake
the wording doesnt exclude targeting the same enemy, who knows what they intended but it does not say that you have to target "another" target, it just says the second one has to target something "within" 15 feet of the prime target, that can mean everything, from "another target within 15 feet" or also "anything within 15 feet, including prime target"
