I guess if you really can't or don't want to read then this is good. It sounds very robotic to me. I'd get annoyed with this very quickly. But for those that need a spoken game this is a good option.

Its NOT old robot voice, pay attention to video,
Zira and David are robot voices. But this are Natural voices! Completely different things

It's good, don't get me wrong. I can see how people would enjoy this if they want everything spoken. But for me, it's just sounds off. Don't worry. I'm not trying to make you feel bad about it, and not everyone is particular about these things. I am. So there it is.

I'm not big on voice acting in RPG with lot of text, since it distract me from reading. But for those who like it, or people who struggle to read (for one reason or another), it's nice.

For me its quite opposite. It makes it more immersive when i hear voices.
And it has absolutely nothing to do with reading abilities. I read perfectly fine.

It sounds a little lifeless, but if it was BG3's narrator voice, I'd be salivating.

Something like VoiceOver (Classic) addon for World of Warcraft, would be pinnacle of modding for Wrath of the Righteous.

Im still very surprised there are no AI voice mods. Skyrim, Cyberpunk and even BG3 from what I read had some(probably even more games). However I only tested it on CP and I gotta say except some higly emotional scenes it sounded amazingly good and realistic. You could even choose from different celebrities to different NPC's.

I don't mind reading at all but I like gaming kinda far from the screen but with this game that is not viable. Hope it comes one day

Maybe because it's illegal to use someone elses voice and copy it with AI? I'm more surprised the Nexus doesn't remove these mods. I'm personally wholy against it. Now if you create a voice of your own, or use your own voice then that's different. But using AI to copy someone elses voice to suit your needs and make it public. Well there's so much wrong with that it's not even funny.

I agree.
If there are no reading stops at punctuation marks and some off pronounces it really would be hard to tell.
Tribe chief also sounds bit off, but he has speech impairment so you really cant blame speech to read trying to read what even i cant. I am really enjoying it so far.

As for more voices, there actually are a lot more voices, Microsoft offers great amount of them and much better ones,BUT only online version. Although online version has to use NaturalVoiceSAPIAdapter and it apparently has a bug where it would hang and crash the game when trying to read second time.
