Any idea what the 11gb i just downloaded was? According to the patch log there hasnt been a patch for this game since March 2022 lol, so wondering if anyone has any clue what that was.

last update was the hot-fix patch v2.3.3K on Jul 15 2024, there has been nothing since, and nothing sent to the beta test team either. OwlCat has been busy with the RT DLC

Wrong. They are actively making some kind of big patch (this can be seen in steamdb) and this was a false update when one of the developers accidentally sent it to the public (they have already rolled it back).

And, as the messages in the discord indicate, it will be more than just a bugfix, but nothing specific as of yet.

Doesn't seem to have an immediate effect. Even modded games still work, I guess it is a pre-download.

There was 2 "patches" last night. One that deleted all the DLC related bundles, and one that restored them. There shouldn't be any actual changes going on, as far as we can tell. (The modding channel in the Owlcat discord)

Poggies i have no idea whats going on.. it's like some mmo type of teaser announcement of some event happening or something soon. ^^ Maybe some crossover event update with another game?

They said no more DLC for WOTR, so this is either a big patch crossover, or they changed their minds on the DLC part.

Weird, i had no idea the game was still getting updates. I figured it would be pretty safe to go and throw on a couple mods and have at it, but most of the mods i tried were broken so i figured the community had abandoned it. But if theyre stillllll doing patches i guess that explains it.

Last DLC update was from June iirc. And there will not be any more DLC, but I think there's one more patch coming to fix some bugs.
