How to remove the visual effects on weapons

I just bought the Frostbite bastard sword and i love the design, but i really hate the snowflakey visual effect glow around the sword. Is there a mod that removes visual effects on magical weapons? I use the VisualAdjustments2 but it has no option to remove magical glow effects. Any help would be nice

You can use the golem in game to alter to look of a weapon. No mods needed.

It can't remove effects from a weapon, but it can change the design. Plenty of weapons out there to choose from. Otherwise I don't know. I dont think there's a mod that does this.

Isn't there a similar looking weapon without the effects? Or different effects?

As i said. I know about the golem and i use it often. I dont want to change the design because i love the design. Just remove the visual effects. I did manage to remove the glow effects with a mod

I believe he was suggesting you choose a different sword with the same design/appearance, as you did not specify you were wedded to that swords non-visual effects.

Frostbite is a unique sword and no other designs like it. Maybe its bastard 3+ design but i cant find it with the cosmetic mod or in shops. Maybe later i will find

Point is you can use the golem to give any bastard sword the physical design features of Frostbite, assuming you aren't wedded to using Frostbite itself. Haven't checked, but you might even be able to make a favored long-sword or scimitar look like Frostbite as well. Not sure though if changing adopting a specific design requires you to adopt the appearance effects as well. I tend toward messing with worn equipment such as armor, rather than weapons.

Got ya, but now i wanna use Frostbite because it has the best stats so far. When i get a better sword later i will try that and see if i only get the design without the glow
