Cannot progress Dance of masks DLC

At the festival, I get to the part where you kill the cultists in the house. After you kill them in the house, you get the objective to return to the festival, but when I exit the house this objective doesn't complete. which means I'm just stuck wandering the festival. I tried reloading and running through the entire festival again but the same thing happens. I have also completed all of the companion objectives prior to entering the house.I ran through the entire dlc again without mods and the same thing happens, I also reinstalled the DLC and verified integrity. I even went to a previous character where the DLC worked and it doesn't anymore. I tried brute forcing the quest by completing it in toybox and completing an etude that supposedly forces the next part of the quest but simply nothing happens, i'm also on the demon mythic path. I'll be reinstalling the game and deleting all mods, if that doesn't work then i'm out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the following mods installed:

bubble buff

combat relief

mod menu

toybox

visual adjustments 2

I just wanted to see Camellia's romance scene since there's no footage of it online T.T

EDIT: did a clean install, no mods, same thing happens. Aside from this, no other bugs happened during my playthrough

Make sure to log a bug in the game with alt+b

I've seen several people mentioning the same thing. Seems to be a bug. Reloading a save prior to entering/doing the area "fix it".

Have done this several times already with and without mods and sadly the same thing happens.

UPDATE : so the problem actually isn't the return to the festival objective, the problem is I don't get the option to wait for the closing ceremony

I've found how to fix it—at least, as far as I'm concerned.

Use ToyBox to look for "DL6_ClosingCeremony" among the Etudes.

Open it with the little ▶ arrow next to the name, and click the button titled "Show Object from scene StartThirdRE"

In-game, this should make the button "Wait for the closing ceremony" appear in front of the central stage. You can then click it and proceed with the DLC normally.

Let me know if it works for you!

Can confirm this works! Was able to play the DLC through to the end without problems. Just in case I finished the companion quests and waited for all of them (except Camellia) to disappear from the map by doing the various activities.
