Finger of Death weak damage bug

It supposed to deal 10 damage per caster level, but it alwatys deal 10 damage only. Is this a bug? My caster level is 14, it supposed to do 140 dmg

It should be. Description literally says "10 damage per caster level, if target fails saving throw". Target does fail it.

Just stating how it should be is irrelevant. It's already established as a bug. Feel free to ignore the potential work arounds, though.
