the verification simply completes as if nothing is wrong with the game, i recently had to re-install windows due to a problem with my User folder but I dunno why the game can't just put the files back where they need to be, also the fix of deleting the files in C drive doesn't work precisely because that folder is always empty no matter how many times i attempt to re-install, dunno how Im supposed to force it to put those files back in the folder
Also, are you sure you're deleting the files from the right folder? It has to be the user you're currently logged into Windows as, otherwise it won't do anything. If you re-installed Windows, that might not even be on drive c:\.
Your
Logs
?? there's a way to see what the game is doing? its not crashing it just sits there with music in the background never finishing the loading screen
how do I access the log?
IF you don't know what you're doing DO NOT CLEAN YOU REGISTRY. Terrible advice.
yeah its not generating the log, in fact those folders never appear in my User folder, now here is the oddball part, both the locallow and the local folders exist and Baldur's gate 3 for example is using the local folder without issue, but Owlcat Games' folder never shows up in either of these, sometimes it shows up in the temp folder but its always empty there and the folders vanish when i try to access them as if i deleted them even though I didn't
