Even without that mythic ability, most demons have but a measly 10 resistance to fire. Electricity and poison are what they're immune to.
If you go crossblooded or pick through mythic feat, be sure to pick one of the dragon that give +1 damage per dice to fire damage for obvious reason. Red is one, but there are a few others. Since some time back, you can't stack those extra damage from bloodline, so only one is needed.
you could technically have 3 bloodlines.... 2 normally and an extra one from mythic second bloodline feature..... the second bloodline feature though will have everything the bloodline has to offer with no penalties like crossblooded has for its second bloodline with no abilities and just spells and 1st level features....
though I tend to favor seeker sorcerers and just go elemental bloodline first then dragon bloodline later on through mythic feat second bloodline...
with seeker sorcerer you gain 3 more feats than normal and get to turn your character into a good trickery character.... by Act 2 my sorcerer beats all the other trickery characters even Aru when you recruit her.... they need pets and buffs to get higher trickery than my main....
thing with going elemental bloodline though is you can convert any elemental spell into your preferred energy type.... by mythic rank 1 you can get ascendant element and bypass all elemental resistances and immunities... which with an elemental bloodline you can start blasting like crazy early on...
snowball is vital early game too..... I like evocation and all... but early game snowball is a conjuration damage spell... meaning no spell resistance check needed.... only save is a stun which I find nice but not as important as the damage at that point....
so as a seeker sorcerer I dont need to worry about spell pen low levels thanks to snowball.... and I get more feats to manage things..... starting off at level 1 with metamagic selective and point blank shot.... level 3 precise shot.... level 5 metamagic bolster and metamagic intensify for seeker bonus feat.... and level 7 metamagic heighten.... i'd start then going into spell focus feats and get spell specialization by level 13 for hellfire ray to make that spell cast as a 15th level spell by then... which would turn it from doing 13d6 instead into dealing 15d6 with 2 rays... so 30d6....
also picking up sorcerous reflex by mythic rank 2 helps out a lot..... by time you reach level 10 you can end up casting level 3 spells as quicken for first round.... so a snowball bolstered and intensified would be 10d6 + 20 damage and 20 splash.... using a rod of empower or maximize for both in same round can make them even stronger...
also a dragonic bloodline would add +1 per die if snowball is converted to the dragon type.... and you can buy a pair of gloves from tavernkeeper in defenders heart that adds +1 per die to level 1 spells and lower.... meaning cantrip damage increased and snowball increased.... even if its got metamagic on it for higher levels than 1... so with those and bolstered and intensified at level 10 you'll be doing 10d6 + 20 from bolster + 10 from gloves + 10 from draconic bloodline and +1 from point blank shot since snowball is always gonna be in range... thats 51 to 101 damage... thats with no spell resistance check too...
cantrip wise are also boosted.... with elemental bloodline you can convert cantrips into your preferred energy type.... which the cantrip acid splash is a conjuration spell and doesnt require a spell resistance check... cantrips typically only deal 1-3 damage.... but with point blank shot.... gloves... and dragonic bloodline.... you add +3 to damage... so your dealing 4-6 damage with cantrips.... not a massive boost... but your targeting touch AC with it and no spell resistance check... meaning you'd hit more often than say using a crossbow as a sorcerer... and with ascendant element your cantrips will do full damage...
also... as a sorcerer going Azata is a really good choice...
thing with angel is that you can merge spellbooks but only with divine spellbooks such as clerics and oracles....
liches can only merge spellbooks with arcane spellbooks like sorcerers and wizards....
but going Azata... though you cant merge spellbooks you do have some unique spells that you can get fairly early on....
such as favorable magic superpower at rank 4.... as well as ode to miraculous magic spell at rank 4....
thanks to those plus some gear you never have to spend any feats on spell penetration...
favorable magic superpower....
"Azata's magic becomes incredibly more powerful. Whenever an enemy makes a saving throw against her spells, they roll the die twice and take the worst result. Whenever the Azata makes a concentration check or a check to overcome spell resistance, she rolls twice and takes the best result.
If the Azata casts a spell whose description says that a successful saving throw halves its damage or duration, it only decreases it by 25% instead."
so basically its like all your spells are persistent spells.... able to roll 2 times is I think mathematically like having a +4 spell penetration....
and ode to miraculous magic spell from Azata spellbook...
"Azata inspires party members. This spell grants party members a +4 morale bonus on checks to overcome spell resistance, and increase the saving throw DC of their spells that require a Will saving throw by 2."
its a +4 bonus to spell penetration.... which would be the same equivalent as having both spell penetration feats... but for free.... AND its a moral bonus too... meaning if you have the midnight isle's DLC... you can get a ring from the isles in Act 4 set of isles called ring of triumphant advance.... which will double all moral bonuses you have.... meaning by Act 4 this spell would give you a +8 to spell penetration....
so with +8 to spell penetration thanks to this spell with the ring.... and the favorable magic giving a mathematically equivalent of +4 to spell resistance checks.... thats about +12 to spell resistance checks combined....
which if you took spell penetration and greater spell penetration and mythic spell penetration.... you'd have +4 from the normal feats... and your mythic rank added to that with mythic feat..... so by the time you would get the ring in Act 4 you'd already be mythic rank 5 earliest.... giving you a total of 4+5 = 9 spell penetration... which is behind what an Azata could get at that point... and Azata didnt have to spend any feats for it either... you'd need to reach mythic rank 8 before you could match Azata...
course if you go gold dragon you lose out on all of that....
The fact you could pick 2 dragon bloodlines was pretty much a bug since in pnp you can't pick the same bloodline 2 times.
