New Gold Dragon Path Redeemable characters
Can anyone confirm if these two include companion characters? Feel free to spoil who are involve as far as I'm concerned, just use the

tags to hide it from general view. I'm just wondering if these new additions are worth doing a new Gold dragon run.

Thanks!

Camellia? honestly, i dont care if you're a righteous paladin killing her is worthless and only serves to hinder you from doing content, you gain nothing from killing nor does keeping her alive prevent you from getting a particular ending, So i end up taking Anevia's advice and just try to curb Camellia darker impulse,

It goes back to role playing, the whole point of the game. What is the point of an expansive RPG like Wrath if decisions don't affect the overall outcome?

My angel character spared her and tried to set a good example before her. He would not let her kill, and at the end of her quest line, she could no longer stand it and tried to kill him. It went incredibly poorly for her (as you would expect). If we are really playing a good (or lawful) character, then it is perfectly understandable why a serial killer who is targeting innocents (when there are more than enough evil people out there to legally kill) would be a problem (especially when her idea of bonding means killing more people). Keeping her alive should tank a player's alignment.

From a meta standpoint, you lose a unique rapier. What a loss. The game is not starved for content. My evil character kept her alive, and all she did was continue to kill crusaders. If you let her kill the fake Trever, she will also kill the real one (in the ending slides) if you ended up saving him.

Of all the things Owlcat did writing wise, I respect the fact that you cannot change her. I get tired of tropes where people can magically "fix" every character's problems.

Wenduag can become neutral with time, and even Hulrun can calm down and become less of a fanatic. Regill is cruel, but there is a pragmatic rationale that I can see (whether I like it or not). They all have some redeeming qualities. Camellia's only quality is that she is an attractive mean girl that can hide behind her wealth and status.

Also, disliking her as a character is a sign of good writing. I simply hope that they don't copy this personality in every subsequent game. HK-47 was interesting, but so many games have their version of him now.

Very interesting, thanks for letting us know! For the second one, is the wardstone required to be saved to redeem that person? I ask because I was planning on doing an Aeon into Gold Dragon run this time around, which would force me to have it destroyed.

If that is what she is like as a mean girl, I cannot imagine what she would be like if she was mentally unhinged.
