BTW, the latest iteration I think even lets you move those "special" enchants unique to items to other items. Like "if you sneeze while striking with this weapon, you blow a hole in reality" etc. etc. But, don't think the description carries over, and I'm nervous to touch that stuff, though some of the unique properties are veddy interesting and I often feel belong better on some other item. :->
That said, it would be really cool, and I would love if the game in its next DLC offers some in-house kind of smithy/crafting station where you do this the "legal" in-game way. Would be cool to craft weapons/armor/items as well as potions/scrolls/meals. It could tie into quests, where you gather the special stuff you need (besides gold and mats). Sorta what Storyteller does for you now, but in a very very limited way.
