1st DLC Length (hours)
The 1st DLC, where you can continue to play as your character, is described by Owlcat as having a length of 8 hours +-
Now, to me that seems really low. I was expecting something of a 20-hour expansion. Or at least, more than 10 hours. I might be asking for too much, but I just simply find it weird to release a DLC that is barely 10 hours. Especially as a continuation of the main campaign, and ESPECIALLY because the final "act" was SO underwhelming, and short. You cannot call it an act or chapter.
I tried to ask more details about the length of this DLC, but Owlcat refuse to elaborate any further.

Yeah thinking about it 8 hours isn't very long when my average playthrough of the main game is clocking in at about 70 hours... 8 hours isn't even 1 act really.

I really really hope that was a typo and the length is longer than 8

Considering your character will already be maxed out on both character and mythic levels, 20 hours with no growth possible seems quite excessive. The game’s already stretched out by the final acts so 8 hours to play with your final abilities seems reasonable.

Whether 8 hours is enough value for the asking price of the DLC is a different story.

What's the price for the DLC anyway?

Yeah that makes sense. I think the DLC would be better off if inserted into the final act.

TBA for now, but you do not have to worry about it if you have the pass.

If the price is not out yet, why not reserve judgement until the product is actually available?

It's been delayed to March by the way.

Thank God, I have too many games to play this month.

I think, the length of this dlc is approximately like in the second dlc in kingmaker (varnhold). A couple of little locations and quests and then one big dungeon.

Something like saying how long DLC in a game like this will take can be simple but is often complicated.

- How much time does the content take to get through,

> assuming you win every fight and don't reload
> assuming you can turn on real time play most of the time
> assuming you don't spend much time reading all the lore or lingering in conversations

So my guess is Owlcat is trying to be conservative, and are giving you a number that can't be disputed by a power player who rushes through it.

DLC 2 is also 7 to 8 hour which would have made more since to release first to me. I am also going to assume that story will be different depending on path so that makes alot more work for each dlc and replayability so adding to the overall play time ?

Sorry Dubai Guy.

https://techraptor.net/gaming/news/owlcat-delays-pathfinder-wrath-of-righteous-inevitable-excess-dlc

The Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Inevitable Excess DLC release date is now Thursday, March 3, 2022. That's a little more than two weeks after its originally-planned launch date of February 15.

"[...] some of the new battle encounters we designed didn’t convey our intentions properly, and we felt like the new enemies and their mechanical features needed more balancing," read a Steam News post (via Reddit). "And so, with a heavy heart, we have to admit that we need additional time before we can let you play this DLC."

[snip][end]

Balancing issues, they say.
I'm curious if 1.2 patch will release out of beta before then. (I suspect so).
Still no price announcement (for those without season pass).
