Trident (DEX)
I made a DEX based Ranger (Sable Company Marine) and I decided to let him dual-wield tridents. Yes I know that tridents are not finesse based (DEX) weapons but I thought I would try it anyway. My problem is I want to try to use them as DEX based weapons but I am having a hard time figuring out how to do that. I have been able to get their attack as DEX based but the damage is still STR based. I read a four year old post online that said using Fencing Grace would make both attack and damage DEX based but that seemed to work only for the attack and not damage. How can I make, or is it possible to make the damage of the tridents DEX based? If there is no way to do this then I might have to respec him to a STR based character which I would prefer not to do.
The feats I currently have are: Weapon Focus (Trident), Two-Weapon fighting (class feat), Weapon finesse (I know it doesn't help on it's own but its needed for the next one), Fencing Grace (Trident) and my next one will be Double Slice (class feat) when I get there.

If you read fencing grace (because words have actual value, they are not fluff), it's clearly written that it doesn't work if you dual wield or use a shield (the offhand needs to be empty, bucklers being the exception).

The only way to dual wield a non finesse weapon and use dex for damage is to use finesse training from the fighter class feature and pick mythic weapon finesse (you need to pick the regular weapopn finesse feat to get it).

That's pretty much regill default build (except he uses the gnome hammer instead of whatever weapon you wish to use, but switch the weapon type and it's exactly the same pattern).
