I play on Deck and for a Unity game I was really surprised how well it does. Through experimentation of different settings I have it at a stable 30 fps and under 15w. Complicated zones go nearer to the 15w while I am usually around 10-11. This give you a good 3h30 of playtime. You get Unity quirks though, hicups when in long lists (usually feats) and a weird GPU usage.
Gameplay wise it gets a while to get used to the controls and it is smoother to play in Turn Based mode though Real Time might be fine if you practice. Overall it works well on Deck, not as well as Wasteland 3 but way better than Rogue Trader so far.
the official controller support removes features (no weapon switch, no custom portraits) and the effort to rebind all controls to keyboard and mouse input is not worth the effort. (i know because i did it) actually because of their poor engine choice it actually runs really poorly on deck and will suck your battery dry even on low settings.
