Favorite Character / Companion / Path
I've played various paths since WOTR release. My latest journey with a Hell Knight/Beast Rider Cavalier has to be the most fun so far. I wanted an Ulfen from Lands of the Linnorm Kings, who was raised respecting Torag but ended up worshiping Godclaw (which includes Torag, Abadar, Asmodeus, Iomedae, and Irori). I was keeping my mind open for a Lawful ending, either Aeon or Devil and settled for Lawful Neutral. The adventure started to become amazing when I met Regill and the way the programmers made the storyline, made it feel like he was a mentor and close ally (dare I say friend) as I journeyed to become an official Hellknight. There was even a divine intervention from Godclaw during play which was a nice surprise. With Seelah, Lann, Sosiel and eventually Trever, the group dynamics was amazing and fun -- as Seelah/Sosiel wanted him to be a paladin while Regill and I were hoping for a new Hellknight recruit.

When I finally decided on Aeon, what really surprised me was the level of detail that the storyline shifts -- as you can change courses of events and judge so many for their transgressions. I think what blew my mind is that eventually you start judging some of your own party members who fought beside you, which makes you start to think about how far order/law/justice should really go. Most fun I've had in a video game in a long time. How is everyone else's journey?

I also really liked the aeon playthrough. But I don't know if I want to do the judging people portion once again(it is really tedious and I don't know how necessary it is to hold true to the correct way to do things.). I did the true ending which I kind of want to do the not true ending.

Trickster Path on my Rapier wielding Tiefling Gendarme was by far my most fun playthrough.
Breaking all the rules and looking great doing it.

Azata on my Freebooter was nearly as fun. Aivu alone is worth the price of admission.

I wanted to like Aeon, and I appreciated it from a story standpoint, but I didn't find it fun and the abilites weren't exciting to me. The character I made for Aeon was more about fixing things than judging people, so worked out really well in Ch1, but less so once Full Aeon happened.

My favorite was an Angel Two-handed fighter / Primalist with Celestial bloodline that went Legend in the end. Felt really on theme and really powerful. Pretty much everything I charged turned into red mist. Poor Demon lords didn't know what hit them.
