What are the race options with the base game?
Was considering getting this game, but what are the standard race options without the dlc?

As in playable races? Racial feats some races can select upon leveling up? Or archetypes only certain races have access to?

There are no races in the DLCs. Just classes/subclasses. You get them all in the base game.

Strictly speaking Lord of Nothing introduces androids. But only via one single companion, not unlocked for the player. And the way that one was implemented mechanically is a far cry from Paizo's official android racial traits...

I'd love playable androids in the main game or an artificer type class. At least we have Magic Inventor now.

I also wish Penta was in the main game as a romancable companion. I liked her more than many of our main options. (But I did like her making a joke about romance).

I mean... androids in Pathfinder are supposed to be 100% emotionless. To the point of never gaining morale bonuses, being immune to fear effects and all emotion-based effects. Both positive and negative ones. (Being an android Bard is a baaad choice). So Penta not being romancable is the right call, I feel,

Well Penta was unique in almost all regards and not truly emotionless. Being a Int Based 'bard' worked for her in the context it was given. But the only real takeaway you should get from the above is that I loved the character and wish I could have used her in the longer main campaign.

But I'll stop diverting the OP's topic.
