Best Mythic Path (Druid)
I have a druid (drovier lvl 4) and was wondering what is the best mythic path for that class when I get to that point?

In terms of power, angel, druid plus angel path will be ridiculously powerful.
The combination of druid and angel mythic paths makes it ridiculously powerful.

In the story of the Azata path, you will constantly purify the pollution of the abyss with your own power. Story-wise it fits Druid very well.

Thematically, I'd think Gold Dragon. But really, A fairly strong case can be made for all paths, except Demon, Devil, and Lich. Yes even Swarm-that-walks. Bugs are a part of nature, after all.

define best... role playing, or raw power?

Honestly? None of them. All mythic paths are alignmental extremes unfit for Druids. Closest one thematically is Azata, but then you have to juggle alignments to not become Chaotic Good (and thus unable to level in Druid anymore). It's about hippies with next to none druidic flavor so, meh...

I'd say Legend for RP. Not druidic in the slightest. But at least you uphold your natural state without becoming some sort of outsider, undead or dragon. Swarm can work too if you're inclined to give up both your mortality and humanity.

All things considered, Druids got shafted really bad in WotR.

druid and angel. angel works just fine as NG. plus combined spell book.

azata has some good thematic spells for druid. NG works for Azata and druid

Sounds like angel and azata are the best choices. I already have 3 azata characters so I might go angel on this one. I will have to think this over by the time I reach the Grey Garrison. Thank you all for the info. This helped a lot :)

Angel spellbook should combine with druids, so that would be incredibly strong.. But Azata would likely be the most thematically in line, followed by the Dragon.

I played a Cavalier of the Paw Azata, and thought the chaotic nature of Azata paired perfectly with the Halfling.. Not so much with the hippy liberal nature of some of the followers, but with the free spirited, mischievous nature of Halflings.. Very cool.. Im not much for min/max builds personally, and prefer themed builds.

I haven't played though it completely but my drovier playthrough is playing with aeon. It is lawful neutral so you don't alignment break. Also the aeon has gazes which for my character I'm hoping will work on my summons because my druid is a summoner.
Druids really are hard to play in this game, mainly due to that the way alignment works true neutral is impossible, as to path Azata is always amazing no matter what class you go with by virtue of it being fairly OP and my favorite path, I may be biased but any path that gives you a purple dragon companion that you can later ride into battle is automatically superior to any other not to mention the humerous things that can happen with it and the powers for it being some of the strongest in the game and well there is a reason why so many people rank it number 1. Also fairly good for a druid thematically as the Azata has the ability to restore the land corrupted by the Abyss and if you are in tune with nature healing the land and undoing the corruption of the Abyss is fairly in line with a druid.

now that i think about it, i would put dragon as the best overall fit for a druid. both powers wise and thematically wise.

In this game, druids don't have to be true neutral,
You can be "Neutral Good", "Neutral Evil", as long as you have a "neutral" in your alignment.

In this game, Druids cannot truly be True Neutral. That's the issue. WotR lacks the "Neutral" aligned dialogue options that were present back in Kingmaker (the ones that shift you towards True Neutral - not to be confused for dialogues without any alignment tags at all). Nor do the current mythic paths really support that kind of druidic keeper-of-the-balance playstyle. Not even in the case of Legend. Closest RP opportunity to this in WotR is the paradox ending in Inevitable Excess. Which, while nice, is not nearly enough to keep True Neutral afloat.

Sure, Lawful Neutral Druids can be Aeons. Even if the pro-civilization and pro-law aspects of that path would only ever work for druidic outliers like Urban Druids[www.d20pfsrd.com]. But that particular archetype isn't in the game. Chaotic Neutral Druids can be Tricksters and Azatas. Which kiiinda thematically works for Feyspeakers. Neutral Evil Druids can be Liches and Swarms. Both cases being thematically valid for Blight Druids. And Neutral Good Druids can be Angels, Gold Dragons and Azatas. But nothing really going on for True Neutral.
