Stuck in the shield maze

I'm stuck in the shield maze and I can't get passed a locked door in a room with a pentagram on the floor where some kind of ritual took place. The door says it needs a key but I have gone through every room and haven't found one.

The second Hand of Hosilla has the key.

Have you opened the secret door that leads to the west side of the map? If not, have you looted the first Hand of Hosilla found on the east side of the map?

specifically.... there are a group of enemies right outside the door to a water elemental on the east side of the map... killing them and looting em shows a note that automatically updates claiming about a secret area.... after collecting the note and going the the blood fountain area there is a hidden switch that you can pull.... right down the hallway through the first set of doors not protected by a trap.... you'll find another group of enemies inside..... they have the key that will open the big door in the pentagram room that the drenches are in...

There is one door that only opens if you fiddle with the torch on the wall left of the door; I think the key is on one of the guys inside that room.

The torch does nothing. I'm in the pentagon room with no way to get through the door.

The pentagon room has only one besides the one I entered the room in. It is on the opposite side from where you enter.

did you go through the area where the water elemental was at?.... enemies right outside that room drop a note....

if you went through every room.... I dont see why you havent been able to progress the quest.... unless your not looting that is...

your journal entry should even update what needs to be done as you gather the note.... try the door without the key.... and grab the key....

That's the wrong room. In the bloodpool room, where turning east leads to the pentagram room, turn left instead. If you've looted the first Hand of Hosilla, you'll be able to interact with the torch on the wall. I'll link to two videos to show ...

Thanks for the help, especially the videos. They helped see where I went wrong and I was able to get through the rest of the maze. Of course the map helped too as little something show up there if you look hard enough. Thanks again.

Don't forget to press "Tab" often. In every room, and after every fight. It highlights things to interact with or loot.
