Through the Ashes Import

When do I import through teh ashes into my main save file?

My main file, I am just about to assault drezen. I completed through the ashes ages ago and, if it was an option, imported it. I deleted my through the ashes save but want my new through the ashes save imported to my main game. Is it too late? Have I already imported the prior one?

Thru the Ashes imported (or should have) back in Act 1, just before the Tavern Defense. If there are multiple characters, you can select them there.
