Help me understand why this enemy doesnt die {Screenshot}
I was attacking this downed enemy, who had several hundred -HP.. I had turned down enemy stats severely, as this is in Blackwater, and I just wanted to get it done. I know there is a feat that requires you lose your Constitution score into the negative, before death.. But I think this particular enemy in the screenshot had somewhere around -650/228 hp before he finally died.. I looked through all his abilities, and I could not find a reason why.

Any help is appreciated.. What am I missing?

Expand the character sheet. He has regeneration that is disabled by electricity or adamantine weapons. It is a common trait of enemies in that area. First playthrough, I assume?

Logically, there is no reason. Maybe try reloading or whacking it with an adamantine weapon, it might work.

II did scroll through each and every one of his traits, and could find nothing.. I did see he had DR Adamantine and DR Magic, but nothing that would explain why he wouldnt die.. At the time I opened this screenshot, is when I was scrolling through feat sheet, and checked each one.. As Blackstone is a notorious area, I assumed his character sheet was known to the community, and a picture of his abilities wouldnt be necessary.

Not my first playthrough, but I am not well versed in the rules. Almost embarrassed to say I have 650 Hrs in WotR, and nearly 650 in Kingmaker.. Still running into things I cant understand, lol

He did eventually die.. My team just kept whacking at him while he was down,. at somewhere around the -650/288 HP area, he finally died.. I did not understand why, so came here to see if someone could explain it..

you find lightening wand near beginning of the area. downed enemies need a zap of lightening to short circuit them (kill them)

the killing blow needs to be electrical.

You can also coup de grace them, which will kill them. Blackwater might be the only place in the game you need to remember that action exists.

The ancient elder tree in the Greenmont place (forgot the name, with the confused woman studying druidic tree markings) also can be Coup De Grace

All the hints were there, but I still didnt make the connection.. I guess it was Camellas weapon enhancement then finally finished him off for me then. We are currently lvl 14

I've just beaten Blackwater myself, on (just) Core, and these wands actually can't penetrate anyone's spell resistance. Shock longswords are the actual solution.

look, this dude is literally grinded meat, a remake of the blob and yet still alive, WTF. yeah the game is not well at explaining you that some opponents need specific damage dealt to finally die for good.
