Oracle/Angel Guide? Please Point me in the right direction
There are a lot of guides to choose from on the interwebs and because it's been a while since i've played pathfinder and don't know much about WotR-specific mechanics (or stuff like WotR spell selection and itemization), i wonder if anyone would help me save a lot of time by suggesting tried and true guide, or guides, that can take on any challenge.

I don't mind complicated as i've played a lot of d&d 3.5 and pathfinder (PnP and CRPG, but not recently, so i'm a bit fuzzy on the rules and mechanics, but i think that will come back to me as i play. just need something to get me started and make me aware if there are things i should do early-game to give me the best late-game build options. Preferably a guide that's clear, concise, organize with an optimized build

The character i want to play looks something like this:

- An Oracle with 10 Angel levels that can beat any challenge the game throws at me.

- Caster-lvl 28 end-game, able to cast lvl 10 spells.

- Good at both melee and casting, but open to builds that prioritizes one or the other (ideally i want a character that can self-buff some long duration spells after rest, then melee most thrash-mobs, but have some really powerful spells and abilities for the tough fights. Unsure if things like limited feats and oracle known spells makes it feasible to be good at both casting and melee tho).

Alternatively, feel free to give me some tips here on what Curses, Mysteries, Revelations, Feats and Spells to choose, what combination of classes i could include to make the build better, like maybe 2 paladin levels and/or 1 scaled fist, use some loremaster instead of oracle levels, focus on str or cha and so on.

Any help would be appreciated :D

Daeran is an oracle. He has an oracle curse that give him stagger the first round. It is super annoying but eventually if you want to deal with it there are boots that make you immune to stagger by giving you permanent freedom of movement. So that was there is no downside. Though for fun I think in a game I chose pranked. I didn't get that far I just wanted them to prank me in conversations.

Angel is the most powerful choice for oracle if you combine the spell book. That is for sure.

There are a lot of ways to build an oracle. I usually build it to fill a party role. So that is the typical life saving buff spells and heal spells and restoration. However if you have someone else fill that role an oracle can go blaster. With blackened you can go ray blaster. I checked and the -4 to hit or whatever doesn't do anything to your rays from the test I did. You could go fire and just blast everything. Up to you.

EDIT: Can't point you to a guide. I pretty much don't use guides.

Generally you're looking at something like nature mystery (choose wolf), followed up by battle as first mythic. I like to pick focus conjuration/greater (you can even take spell specialisation storm of justice (didn't appear on my char sheet last play through although it still worked OK) - along with the robe of the seven sins, that adds a bit of damage.

Take scimitar (I like to max religion out with this and look at faith bearer) or the always recommended gravesinger (great axe) - then the usual combat stuff, outflank - weapons focus/greater/improved critical provided by the battle revelation. Oh and greater enduring spells too - dealing with ability debuffs is a pain. Also like to work in master shapeshifter somewhere for that +4

As for curses - lame and then plagued for me as dual cursed - just lame otherwise

edit - also keeping the build pure oracle helps too, with nature - the last time I played - the "friend to animals" revelation applied to the caster at level 20, by changing type to animal. Might be a bug - I don't know, but it copies the paladin ability (char to saves) for no dip

Typically you'd go with something like this[www.neoseeker.com] for a caster oracle or this[www.neoseeker.com] if you wanted a slightly more melee-oriented build.
