Inq. get 1 level 5 spell at Class level 13 ... ?
Edit: How are you Heightening a spell above level 6 with an Inq. ?
Ahh, I see : "litany of eloquence" - which isn't sonic, it is: Charm and Mind Affecting ... so, useless, like all Mind Affecting spells, sadly ...
You just heighten level 3 spell litany of eloquence to level 4,,5, 6, up to you, and it still Swift spell, its mind affecting spell but no save, only spell resistance, you can land it very easily, dont forget they also get Spell caster teamwork feat, and you can lower enemy save after weapon damage.
You get 1 levl 6 spell slot at level 16 as an Inq.
Look, I don't mean to be a negative nancy - Sacred Huntsmaster (and Divine Hunter) are simply all sorts of better.
Just note, all those reddit forums from 2 years ago that say LoE is great - they added Mind Affecting too almost everything you don't want to resist it; also the reason the enemy is flatfooted isn't because of LoE (which expires on damage) - it is because you ambushed and the enemy hasn't acted in combat yet.
I vividly remember reporting litany of eloquence ages ago because it does in fact not have a save in the pnp
https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/l/litany-of-eloquence/
however in the pathfinder crpg theyve always had a saving throw (despite not being listed) and since i reported it multiple times i eventually just assumed its an intended change.
Also please mention if youre using toybox or similair change heavy mods.
And I personally dont like animal companion, i try to make class that with no pet works.
Seriously, all people who suggesting good class always one direction, its getting bored and innovative.
I personally want to know how to make use the class to the maximum, like LG is prepare class and INT, which can use metamagic and able to boost by Court Poet.
Hence why im asking the first place.
I check and check internet to see how people able to make use living grimoire, then only know this spell is one of the most powerful stunning swift spell that only inquisitor and paladin can cast, and you can heighten it without extra casting time with prepare caster.
"trust me bro" statements on google/reddit/steam/whatever are about as reliable as sandals in winter., Yup, thats you.
So ive clearly used it. In fact if it is actually fixed - which thanks to your lack of valuable contributions that would have taken you about 1 minute to screenshot and share i still dont know for sure - theres a good chance i contributed to it actually being fixed.
Average steam forum user tbh
Why i need to post pic where the first thing you google that spell, the picture would should you what it is.
LOL, it's not. You basically start off with a masterwork weapon, which is nice. And it scales with you. But you need to spend a standard action to enhance it, and it can only be a full magical weapon for a limited amount of time per day. This means your class weapon enhancement feature is weaker than that of a paladin, spirit hunter, warpriest, or magus. All of these classes can have a PERMANENT magic weapon and then enhance it further, provided they haven't reached the required cap. In addition, enhance the holy book gets its extra duration from wisdom, while all other features are based on wisdom (huh?).
In addition, it's the weakest of the divine prepared spellcasters. Every other divine spellcaster that prepares spells gets all their class spells the moment they reach the required level. You actually need to acquire spells through leveling or buying them. Sure, it's not a huge inconvenience, but it really doesn't offer you anything worthwhile by making this change.
You get some teamwork feats, sure, but you could do that with a regular inquisitor or a cavalier. I guess the capstone ability is neat, but that's about it.
You can compare to other classes all you want, it's not a beast class, or even good, but what I do is how to make it works and useable.
Tons of other classes better than this class and easy to use, of course I know that, but doesn't mean everyone has to be scaled firt, pets and crane style.
At least now even on hard, I can make her kill thing fast and how to utilise swift spells every turn, stun those enemy that too hard to kill every turn, and focus on small enemy first
Then i understood you were talking about Litany of eloquence spell to stun your enemy
Not only that spell last 1 round, pretty short to kill an enemy. It doesn't make it flat-footed, it is a 3rd level spell, meaning lvl 7 inquisitor and has to pass spell resitance, meaning you need to use Spell penetration talents and items
I tried giving it to Lann...focusing on SPell Penetration.....BAD IDEA. When the spell atually worked, not getting resisted...it was pretty uselss round, since i just kept missing due to the high AC
Nah..not a good class
Or maybe, a fun class for Story mode, not much else
