A couple Mantis Zealot build questions

So my usual for most melee is to take a Rowdy Rogue dip for early game and turn based. MZ, however, is a dex based melee and a 3/4 BAB. Is it worth the -1bab,slower spell progression for finesse, the extra sneak attack and eventual fear proc? I feel like it is. The build I am considering is Kitsune with Acolyte background, combat reflexes and the new flat footed intimidate feat. I want to try out the Aeon path as well. Thank you for reading.
