Quick Bard (Thundercaller) Question in regards to weapons.

Hey all. I'm trying out a Bard and loving it. Lv. 5 this playthrough. The Crowd Control, the auras, the sonic attacks. It's all great. Except the weapons... I think I messed up building my character at the start, because I chose a longbow, because I see Bard, I think "Rogue." Melee or ranged. But apparently not in this game, lol.

Does anyone have any good weapon suggestions for a Thundercaller? My strength and dex are non-existent. Can I use my Charisma level as a dps/attack modifier? I also know about 'Precise Shot,' but does Bard even have that? Thanks all!

Bards can only get decent weapon DPS through multiclassing but thundercallers typically want to stay pure because their signature ability, thunder call, has a DC that scales with class level. For that reason you typically lean into spellcasting rather than weapon damage when building a thundercaller. You could certainly take point-blank shot and precise shot if you had a role-playing reason to do so, but you'd need to respec to raise your dexterity if you wanted to go that route.
