Dismiss spell doesnt work???

Okay so i looked online for basically the entire duration of grease, i tried to dismiss but ember keeps saying am i doing it wrong, i tried using dismiss spell on the greased floor, on ember, putting ember in the greased floor and clicking on floor and on her, clicking on the bodies in the greased floor, clicking like a madman in the grease puddle, the only thing i got is a "Am i doing it wrong?" Voiceline spam.....

First time ever i played this kind of video game, i do have some experience in dnd stuff albeit quite low amount but i manage, so far i love the game but that damn dismiss spell is getting on my nerve and its the first time i used a aoe floor spell ( im in the tower of estrod )

Was ember the one who cast grease? Only the caster of the spell can dismiss the spell.

Seeing how Ember is a witch who do not get grease, did you do a dip on her to get access to it?
