Gray Garrison statue puzzle hint. where is it?
I'm in that room with the six statues. I gave up and checked a guide. It says there0's a book in the room with the key to the puzzle.

But i don't see it· In the altar there isn't any book. There a small text about justice and wisdom and rewards for the wise. But it's a single line. Dioesn't seem like a real hint or key.

Whats going on?

Take my word for this. Just look up a guide for EVERY SINGLE puzzle going forward, they will only get worse....

Check the corpses of things you killed in there. There is definitely a book with the poem hint in that room. But really, you should just look it up. Or at least look up the book you're missing.

It's called Prayer Scroll, and if it's not on the table behind the succubus, it's in your inventory. The order is Galfrey, Inheribro, Larial, Targona, Zacharius, and lastly Yaniel.

Would mean it has clues using your sense of hearing.

There are a few books (and I think a note or two) that gives hints on what each statue is (and the order to press them). It is a decent puzzle if you take the time to read everything you find.

It's just the order in which they are mentioned in the prayer scroll, which is pretty straightforward... as far as puzzles go, it's super simple.

There is also a secondary clue where each statue pings a different note and you just need to hit the notes in the correct order e.g. do, re, mi, fa, sol, la

1. As I recall, to identify which statue is which you need information from Estrod Tower. Information which is not recorded in game.

2. Notes not much help if you are tone deaf.

To clear up some confusion here, the prayer scroll, which is what you're thinking of, is fairly common to find in bookshelves, on altars, and generally just lying around (including in Estrod Tower).

Is it? I think the prayer scroll just gives you the order of the people the statue represents. It does not give you any means of recognising who each statue represents.

each statue has a thing that if you click it, it puts out the description. With the description combined with how the statue actually looks should be enough to know who each statue represent considering how different most of them are. The only one you may be confused about is Lariel and the Inheritor both being male angels. But that's it, everybody else is obvious if you pay attention to the story while playing the game. This is an RPG where people are expected to read and pay attention to things.

Yes this

The book with the prayer only gives an order but doesn't say who is who.

There's really no way of identifying each character...

It's not true that you have been exposed to how they look like. Even if you did it was brief and on the margins.

Like iomedaes statue in the market. There's a chance you didn't even clicked or looked at It while being there.

Or if you were to strod tower, you probably won't remember all descriptions. I don't. You don't even have to click on all the paintings. And I'm not sure they really name the depicted characters.

It's straight forward if you have the description of how each character looks like but you really don't.

There are a few scrolls in the Grey Garrison that also talk about the other characters (so you can identify them). They are scattered throughout the tower.
