Report a translation problem
When your chances to open a chest/door is low, you'd better make a save before attempting the skill check.
But it's a door. One of the secret doors camouflaged as walls in the garrison.
So I can't get the loot anymore?
The two doors in the garrison that could be easily jammed (that I remember) both had some magical symbols on them. One of them just allows you to skip a room with several abrikandus in it. The other had some minor loot.
edit:
I remember a third door - the locked door that's available on your way out of the shield maze. It's possible to jam it back then, and if you do so, it's still jammed when you return later. Like the second magic symbol door, there's some minor loot behind that door.
