Exp Curve w/ ToyBox Question
I'm having this issue where my main toon is leveling on a lower exp curve, but I do not have, nor had I ever had, the Party Level Cap checked under Create & Level Up (Level Up tab) with ToyBox.

I found a 2 year old post on Reddit where advice advice was given that pointed to an "Allow Levels Past 20" option. Is this an option that's separate from my previously mentioned one under the Level Up tab? If so, where is it located?

Not really sure what you mean since toybox from my understanding never touches the amount of xp you need to lvl up far as I know. Instead what it allows is to remove the limit from going beyond lvl 20 unless your a legend, options being lvl 24 or lvl 40 max. But it also allows you to go beyond that by having the game not count classes you've lvled in already as your total lvl. When it comes to the actual lvl up part toybox is either able to directly give your characters xp or give an xp multiplier so you get XP x X instead. Don't think it has ever had an option to increase or lower the xp needed for a lvl up.

Hey. So I figured it out after posting this. It's well hidden under Party --> [Character Name] --> Classes [arrow] --> Allow Levels Past 20.

Ended up here in 2025 trying to find how to remove the level cap in toybox, I kept looking for it under cheats. But the implementation is wonky, after removing the cap my second class instantly goes all the way to 18, which is like turning on god mode, and I'm practically immortal already as it is.

It does kinda suck not to see those levels go up anymore, but I'll just bear with it. The quests left on my journat are deal with the spinner, find queen and angel, Nenio's. Then I imagine I'll unlock the actual final quest, hopefully there's not too much game left. It's a great game, but it's so long and managing the crusade even with toybox cheats is such a drag, I'm ready to wrap it up.

DO NOT DO NENIO'S QUEST. I did not really understood your other concerns, but if you find the game is already too long, just skip nenio's quest. Friendly advice

Without spoiling yourself, nenio's quest is very hard, very long, lot of puzzles without any sense and change nothing to the end game. It's easily 50% of act V if done blindly

Edit : understood. At this point, spinner is just a location, quest done in about 5 minutes. Queen is in Iz (surprising....), that leads to the threshold quest and then end of the playthrough (that's not short by any means). Nenio's quest, having the solution of the puzzles is easily a 5 hours (very hard) dungeon, without them you can multiply by 5 (at the very least)

Mine works, although my game is running on a previous version since I beat it a year ago.
But just looking at it, you can also manually set levels by going to Party>All And clicking on Classes. Decrease your second class to the desired level and precede as normal.

Although for me, I did not use the method Wild Card used. Under Level Up tab, I just ticked the box "Party level cap 40" Under >Create and Level up<.

Thank you, this is exactly what I was hoping for! Don't know how I missed that, now I'm feeling dumb!

Yikes. Thanks for the heads up, now I know there's a long ass dungeon ahead of me. I'm gonna do it, came too far not to finish it. I have no patience for puzzles in these games, so I got a mod that instant solves Nenio's puzzles, thank god for that, so that part was a non-issue. I just got the last mask in the prison, when I'm done here the nameless ruins are (I think) my final stop before Drezen and the endgame.
