Question: Triggering Dangerous Knowledge quest

My first playthrough was the previous EE version.
And now I'm playing the EE version for the first time.

I know that I finish the conversation with Nocticula&Areelu then Nocticula give the Dangerous Knowledge quest to my party.

but She does not trigger the quest with her dialogue.

(1)My Expectation
"Areelu, You are no longer need here"
"As you will, my lady"
=>"There is one more thing we must discuss. the Lexicon of paradox ......".

(2)Reality
: "Areelu, You are no longer need here"
"As you will, my lady"
=>"You have taken a liking to my city, I see. .............(End Dialogue)".

Is this bug? or has the quest triggering condition been changed?

Did you give the Lexicon Part 1 to Galfrey? (Or did you somehow lose part 1 in some other way?)

Can't confirm personally, but I think one of the patches changed it so that quest doesn't trigger if it's impossible to complete.

Oh Yes I Did. I gave Lexicon Part 1 to Queen at Chapter 3.

Thanks for that info.I don't mean to hand the book to Nocticula, but I was wondering if it was a bug or if the developers changed the conditions at some point.
