Mythic armor focus. Heads up doesn't work with mithril armor.
Heads up mythic armor focus might not work correctly with mithril armor or with armor training. I put on staunton's armor and suddenly the damage bonus from the armor was gone. I will swap out heavy armors to see if it is indeed the mithril bear with me.

Yeah I tested it. When I swapped with another character with normal full plate it worked like intended. A shame because +10 damage or whatever and 1d6 is a decent amount of extra damage.

mithril armor is actually one degree lighter, meaning a mithril fullplate is actually medium armor, and mithril medium armor is light, and mirthril light armor is still light.
if you want to use mithril fullplate, get Armor Focus: Medium.
If this is intended, then someone at Owlcat is wrong. "A character wearing mithral full plate must be proficient in wearing heavy armor...", straight from RAW. Unless it's homebrew on purpose. I don't know which option is dumber.

Armor focus and Armor proficiency are 2 different things.
Mithral armor counts as lighter in all ways except proficiency.

Most mithral armors are one category lighter than normal for purposes of movement and other limitations. Heavy armors are treated as medium, and medium armors are treated as light, but light armors are still treated as light. This decrease does not apply to proficiency in wearing the armor. A character wearing mithral full plate must be proficient in wearing heavy armor.

I'm gonna be honest, that sounds stupid. Why not just make it require a lower armor proficiency requirement then?

Meaning in tabletop version, a Mithral Fullplate can be worn by any class, but without Heavy Armor Proficiency, they would suffer penalties of a medium armor, but this penalty is not reduced by Medium Armor Proficiency, and they would still need Armor Focus: Fullplate for it to give them +1AC.
Yes. None of this makes this decision any less stupid though. There is definitely no intent in the rules to treat these armors as anything but their written category for feat requirements. And effects, I guess.

Edit: actually, to hell with how stupid this decision is or not. Mithral heavy armors have hefty AC, so maybe taking all three mythic medium armor feats and building for CON and DEX is actually good now. Maybe a new meta to dislodge archmage armor, even.
