Another possibility is a hex based class. Unlimited slumber is going to be strong.
I have beaten it on wizard before(core difficulty)
I just wanted too see what idea's people had.
So for keneticist or a pet class.
Meaby my next playthrought shoud be a druid.
When i get the merc's i should make them all druid.
I mean druid party makes the game easy.
But i managed.
As for the 3 mercenary you recruit, i made a hunter (divine hunter) with a bow and a pet leopard, an oracle (sacred herbalist, for the heal) and a fighter (mutation warrior) with sword and shield.
I kept Sendri as a basic sorcerer and Rekarth as a rogue, but choosed to spec him in ranged weapons.
The fighter was a great help, since you have the opportunity to get a full plate armor once you finish the 3rd area of Through the ashes : barring natural 20, most ennemies couldn't hit him.
Lord of nothing was a walk in the park, compared to Through the ashes. I don't know if it's because you got way more stuff to equip yourself or simply because the ennemies are underleveled compared to you, but honestly ... even the boss encounters where easy.
