Good build for from the ashes?
I want to play from the ashes again on Last Azlanti core difficulty but everything i made either gets killed or caught and killed.

So i like to hear what build you would recommend.
Said build will be transfered over to lord of nothing.

So what build do you recommand for a Last Azlanti core difficulty from the ashan and lord of nothing playthrough?

Tower shield specialist. Make an Oread or a dwarf or half-orc or a tiefling - Motherless for the blur ability. Just build for defense first, shield focus, armor focus - heavy, dodge, ironhide/etc. Take power attack once you have your defenses in place.

Unlike WotR you can heavy armor+shield and actually have a high enough AC to avoid a lot of attacks.

If You want to do Last Azlanti in Lord of Nothing i would recommend to skip the chained darkness optional encounter, while You probably can´t get there without looking at some guide.

If You want to do this encounter i´d suggest You have high enough attack so that You can actually hit it. On unfair it has 74 AC, and rather high spell resistance. So You perhaps want Sendri specializing in cold, to have a chance to overcome the resistance. And perhaps two melee characters who can smite chaos, while at least one of them wants mark of justice - and both having high charisma. And then anything which further buffs Your defense and attack probably with domain abilities. On core it´s less AC, but it does an area spell which kills You within a few turns - and You´re only lvl 11, despite having his 6 or 8 attacks, which two hit You. Basically if You want to do this encounter - You have to build Your party for this single encounter, while it will obviously be good enough to beat anything else in the game as well. But i´d say it´s still a bit RNG based even with a min maxed party.

Also in Lord of Nothing You get a lantern, which protects You from constant damage in the end area, with the slight downside that it doesn´t work properly as some people will get damage, even if they´re inside the area of effect. It´s not much damage per tick, but adds up. And there´s another area there in which You take more constant damage, and i haven´t seen a way to turn it off. It´s an optional area though...

Just as some side notes.
