You're probably already aware that an actual good aligned Demon won't work out, aligment restriction-wise. Staying in the Neutral field's best you can get. As for class: Shifter in general is great for your natural attack purpose. It's a class that doesn't need dips to take off.
I don't think it's a bug, rather a rework to fit in the campaign against demon. The description from the TT is pact-forged from dark powers while in the game it's the worldwound's corruption transforming your body and now you use your curse to fight the abyss. Even the description (and function) of the Infernal Claws change. In TT it's " ...infused with the unholy power of the evil Outer Planes. At 1st level, a fiendflesh shifter’s claws are treated as evil weapons..." while in the game it's " ...infused with the rage at her creator from the evil outer planes. At 1st level, a fiendflesh shifter’s claws overcome damage reduction of any evil outsiders."
I'm aware it's self-sabotage, I'm not playing on hard/unfair so i don't really care much for min-maxing. I'm just doing this for RP. I wanted some class suggestions for natural attacks
Owlcat changed the Infernal Claws DR due to the lack of good-aligned hostile encounters. Though even that change was kinda "off". A more appropriate homebrew change would be to switch the Shifter's natural attacks into evil and law-infused weapons. Making them true to the feature's name. Or rename it into Fiend Claws with a toggle to switch between law, evil and chaos claw enhancements. At least that way the claws would be thematically relevant for all three aspects.
