As for play order, timeline wise they actually run concurrently with the main campaign. That is to say, while your main campaign character is running around in the first part of the game, your Through the Ashes character is also running around at the same time. The DLC characters are not the same characters as your main campaign character.
My personal suggestion would be to complete Through the Ashes and Lord of Nothing first in that order. Lord of Nothing is a sequel to Through the Ashes. There may be a few spoilers, but not spoiler enough to really ruin anything IMO. They mostly just hint at what stage the main campaign is at if you already know the context.
Inevitable Excess takes place during the very last push to the final boss of the main campaign, but completing it sprinkles rewards throughout most of the main campaign, including a unique power that your main character picks up at the start of Act 2. It's very spoiler heavy though, if you haven't played the main campaign yet. Might be best to consider doing this DLC after you've completed the main campaign once.
Midnight Isles and Last Sarkorian integrate right into the main campaign, so no need to worry about them. Midnight Isles also comes with a stand alone rogue-like mode that has no impact at all on the main campaign.
Oh so if Lord is a sequel to Ashes, that means both DLCs happens in Act 1? or timelinewise, Lord happens at same time of later Act in main campaign?
Basicaly there are multiple areas in LoN. Completing them "skips time", so each area completed is new act in main campaign, chronologicaly speaking.
Ohh ok, so play Ashes, then main campaing till Act 5, then Lord, then finish campaign, the Excces. That would be good for a 1st playtrought?. Also I read theres a 6th dlc coming, Is that going to be integrated on the main campaign? or will be standalone like Ashes.
So if it follows Citadel formula, it will be some problem you solve, then a lot of talking with companions. Probably
So far the only thing we 100% know you will have date with your love interest (thanks to datamining).
Ohh sounds cool
