Where to sell or store gear in Act 2 crusade?
I'ver gotten through several crusade battles in Act 2. But I've also reached point where the game says my units are overburdened. Fine, I'll just seel and/or store some stuff to reduce weight. EXCEPT. I can't see any way to get back to crusader camp to do this. With either the combat units, or my "regular" party? What the heck can I do? I must be missing something.

The camp moves after certain areas/battles (ex: leper's smile). The camp has a quartermaster who buys items in addition to a storage chest in the commander's tent.

If you are overburdened in a non random encounter map, you can always drop the items and return to that area to pick them up later. You can also cheese the system by using bull's strength to increase your weight limit enough for you to leave an area. Being overburdened does not affect you during map travel.

I think if the parties encumbrance is over the limit you are slowed on the travel map. You can still move but takes you longer to get somewhere with more chance to become fatigued/exhausted on the way.

But either way, just dump the low value items. Anything that is less then 5gp/1lb. It may seem like leaving money but there is SO MUCH money in Wrath that you don't need to encumber yourself carrying around leather armor, long spears, hide armor, tower shields, etc.

OK, thanks for the replies. Dumping is the answer. If any developers read this, I think they should provide the player a way to get to camp to take care of such things, in any future Pathfinder games.

The camp is always near you in act 2.

For loot: Make a weight/value comparsion. A Dagger is 1 kilo/pound and 1 gold worth. That is a medicore balance. Those 0.05 things are always worth to take with you. Don't take a weapon/armour that weights more than it's value.

Cherry picking is important for loot.

Yeah, as a long time AD&D player, you have to pick and choose what you are going to loot most of the time. Trying to take those 300,000 cp from a dragon's hoard, or the 5000lb statue carved by a master back in the distant past, is usually not worth the time and can end up killing you if you run into something nasty, like a DM's pettiness.

Had a whole campaign in D&D where we had this great amount of treasure in copper and other types of things where the volume and weight were immense (and so was the value) so we set up a semi-permanent camp and started a couple of businesses to gather, transport, and sell it all off. Eventually it became a small town. The GM had a lot of fun running a campaign with all the potential problems you can incur when you try to prospect *anything* this way (was basically an entire dungeon's worth of treasure including several hoards, but none of it was in a currency you were meant to stop to deal with).

Oh and with regard to this thread, you are never more than a map move to your camp and someplace you can sell.
