DLCs, Core and Import
Hello! Doing my first blind playthrough right now. While researching when to play DLCs I've seen something about rewards importing only if you finish it on Core. Is that true for all DLCs or just Inevitable Excess? I know it's a late game DLC. I didn't research thoroughly, to avoid spoilers, so that's why I'm asking here.
So - do I need to play Through the Ashes and The Lord of Nothing on Core to get all of the imports? And when do I start Lord of Nothing? I know it continues Through the Ashes, but maybe it has some late spoilers in it. And when import from Lord of Nothing occurs? TtA imports somewhere at "Defender's Heart", from what I've read, haven't reached that point in the main game yet, just left the underground and met a half-orc warrior above.

I'm doing the main game on the Core as well, but I'm pretty bad, to put it lightly. FIrst area and especially some mobs (like that water elemental) were pure luck. Took ten hours to clear that first zone fully. I had fun, but I could see it grinding me down in the long run. After all - this is still a tutorial zone. Do I lose anything by not playing the main game on core? Aside from achievements and a "proper challenge"?

Sorry for rambling. TL;DR:

-Do I need to play DLCs on Core for all imports?
-When does Lord of Nothing import occurs?
-Should I start Lord of Nothing right after Through the Ashes, or does it spoil something late-game?

Finish the IE - Get Mythic Power ability
Kill Inevitable Darkness on Normal, Core and Hard. You get items during playthrough, you get more based on difficulty you killed ID. If you want to do it, do it with guide.
You only need to kill ID on that difficulty, you can change difficulty after. You also need to then finish the DLC in any way. Takes place just before defeating final boss.

Through the Ashes - difficulty does not matter, you get Metamagic Rod after Defender Heart defense. Takes place after prolog.

Treasure of Midnight Isles and The Last Sarkosian do not have import and are integrated into main game.

The Lord of Nothing - opens up new dungeon in Act 5 if you finish DLC on any difficulty and Relic to either turn into sword or upgrade Metamagic Rod from Through the Ashes DLC. IF it has any difficulty reward I do not know.

I played all DLC' on lower difficulties and got the main campaign rewards, I completed the Lord of nothing DLC but haven't check the main campaign for its reward yet but, for other 2 dlc, you don't have to complete on core difficulty.

I have seen this, according to some sources, you have to kill the hidden boss in Inevitable Excess on core or even hard to unlock the secret loot in the main campaign.
I don't know about the midnight isle though, does the secret boss in this mode unlock anything?

As for spoilers, Lord of nothing does contain spoilers of the main campaign if you talk to a certain NPC.
You can finish the lord of nothing after chapter 4 to avoid spoilers

Oh i didn't know about the secret loot. But if you finish IE you get a cool buff.

You get it after defence, or if you manage to skip it then you get it before you get to Grey Garrison.
I imported an old Through the ashes load file, then attacked the gray Garrison instead of defend the inn. I get the flail of weakness but not the frost metamagic Rod. Is the rod only begotten after the end of attack on gray Garrison?

Or is it that I need to be defending the defenders heart instead of attacking gray garrison instead to get the rod?

Please help, anyone. My sorc kinda need that frost metamagic rod. Thanks
