I think they've earned the opportunity to take on new material, an epic. I have not been impressed with ANY Warhammer games thus far. So take a working formula and apply it to Rogue Trader. The beta coverage already lets me know they have a success well in hand.
the game is reaching the end of support, we have one more dlc and that will probably come with the last major patch, Im sure owlcat will continue to do some patching (especially for the dlc) but thats about it.
the game has been out for 2 years and I think owlcat has the right to move on. Unity also is historically mod freindly so I think they have done as much as they with it
do you happen to know the studio name, id love to look into their progress and other work!
ive already played kingmaker and im currently doing a modded play-through, i plan on waiting to come back to WotR until the last DLC is out, really excited for that.
and i 100% agree, they def earn all the praise and accolades they get, i also was never much of a fan of Warhammer till owlcat got it, now im really excited to see Rogue Trader but fantasy/DnD games will most likely always be my favorite.
Their first Pathfinder game, Gallowspire Survivors is currently in Early Access here on steam. Their second Pathfinder game, Abomination Vaults recently had an successful kickstarter. And is sheduled to release around Summer 2025, give or take.
Fair warning: none of them are RPG's. Nor does BKOM use Paizo's rulesets for their games. They're vastly different types compared to Owlcat's cRPG adaptions.
