Ivory Sanctum Puzzles. How to figure them out?

Overall I only found 3 notes. One note only gave me the first two so I figured out the remaining two by trying in the center. The other gave me all 4 but the door there was still locked and required a key and for the one in the mimic room I have not even a clue. Are we supposed to just try it out?

Edit: A found at least the mimic one. The answer is in cryptic note.

No clue for the second one at that other wall puzzle. It didnt deactivate after I put in the stuff from the first note. Just a cutscene and a not opening door

If you're referring to the button puzzles by Jerribeth's room, that puzzle has two solutions. One opens the door to Jerribeth's room, and the other opens a panel for loot (Ring of Sacred Touch).

I forgot where the note of Baphomet statue room is, but the note gives you an incomplete answer to the first 2 combinations, you are suppose to brute force the latter 2.

All of the puzzles in that place have a corresponding note that can be found that essentially gives you the answer.

After my very first play through though, I kind of get impatient with the puzzles, especially all of Nenio's puzzles, and just use a guide to get through it quickly. This guide has a couple of the solutions but appears to be missing a screenshot of one of the three puzzles.
