Pulura Falls Floor Puzzle

I have looked up the floor puzzle solution - it's the same on multiple sites and YouTube videos. But every time I try, and I've tried several times, I get - nothing. The entrance in the wall never opens up. In case it matters, I also can't find one the books that the player is supposed to read to figure out the puzzle solution - the one by Nidalev(Spelling?). Am I missing something? Is there some kind of DC that maybe my group isn't passing?

One of the books (Torn-Out Pages from a Sarkorian Book) is outside. The other two (The Cosmic Caravan and Old Sarkorian Book) are in the back area where you dealt with the quest associated with the area.

Thanks. I have watched that video. And I've been able to get the torn-out page that requires passing the Athletic DC (Good old Lann). But the Cosmic Caravan book and the Old Sarkorian book - I've gone back to that back area multiple time, and I never can see those 2 books to pick up and read. Which I assume is part of why I'm stuck on this one thing.
Edit: Sorry, I had watched a different YouTube video. Also, I'm in Pulara Falls in Act 3, because of the Mythic path I'm following. I noticed in this video that the player is in Act 5, not Act 3. Could this have something to do with my problem in solving the floor puzzle?

I don't remember if it can be done during the Act 3 Angel mythic quest, and don't know about other Act 3 possibilities. Aeon and Azata don't go there in Act 3 - don't know about Demon, Lich, or Trickster.

Angel gets taken to Pulura's Falls by the Hand of the Inheritor. A griffon will take the Trickster to the area outside the Shrine, but Trickster can NOT go inside. All other paths are blocked from going until Act 5.

Thanks, but can a player on the Angel Mythic path successfully do the floor puzzle in Act 3?

Yes. I did it on my last playthrough.

Ok, thanks for that, that means there's something else keeping me from"solving" the floor puzzle.

I literally just completed the puzzle as an angel seconds ago. You must have press the puzzle wrong or something. I using the wiki as a guide

I appreciate you posting this. This is what I have been using:
1 Newlyweds
2 Daughter
3 Rider
4 Patriarch
5 Pack
6 Follower
I re-did it maybe 4 or 5 times, after I saw your post. Still nothing. But, what I showed above, is that the same you used?
Edit: I just recalled, everytime I did this, one of the starts was already dimmed out. I opened up my save and checked. The star closest to the stairs is dimmed out. I'm guessing:
1) I accidentally clicked on that start in the middle of walking around to pick up all of the quests in Pulura Falls.
2) My only recourse is to open up the save from when I first got to Pulura, and re-do everything, being very careful to never click on one of the stars when I alk to the back to pick up the 21 daggers quests.
Ohhhhh man. I have already done so many re-does, just to get all 21 daggers!

One of them resets the puzzle. You don't need to start over.

Press the tile called "cusp" to reset the puzzle
